Extraordinary Meeting of the Parochial Church Council

On Wednesday, September 4th, 2019 at 7.30pm

Present: John Bonham (JB), Penny Bonham (PB), David Tibbetts-Chaplin (DT-C), David Kent (DK), Mark Claydon (MC), Pam Higham (PH), Ann Booty (AB), Clement Arde-Acquah (CA-A) and Ravi Natarajan (RN)

Apologies for absence were received from the Reverend Tony Bushell (TB), Morag Bushell (MB), John Lemon (JL) and Sue Lemon (SL). 

According to Church Representation Rules, the meeting had to be attended by no fewer than one third of the PCC. This minimum was exceeded. 

The meeting was opened by John Bonham, vice-Chairman of the PCC, in the absence of the Priest-in-Charge. 

The meeting unanimously agreed the following:

Resolved - the Parochial Church Council of St Albright’s Church, Stanway, warmly welcomes the Reverend Wendy Pagden as she begins her ministry among us as ‘Pioneer Minister’ of the Parish of Stanway. We look forward to her licensing and pray God’s blessing on her work. 

The meeting closed immediately after transacting the above business.
